Karachi: The code writers creating top-notch artificial intelligence (AI) tools that are garnering massive attention around the world don’t always belong in Silicon Valley.
Some of these geeks can be found in typical middle-class Karachi neighborhoods like Gulistan-e-Jauhar. They went to local colleges and still beat Ivy League grads to the top of AI.
AIAV, a personalization engine created by technology consulting firm AlphaVenture, has been at the top of the AI wave since its launch earlier this month.
The tool adds a “context layer” on top of ChatGPT, a generative large scale language model (LLM), allowing users to create personalized raps, bios and dating profiles based on their social media personas. increase.
Its founders claim it has become “one of the fastest generative AI products” reaching over 200,000 user signups from 194 countries within three days, and the buzz on Twitter proves it.
LLM-based generative AI, such as ChatGPT and Google NLP, require very high computational resources. AIAV has built a contextual engine to complement its capabilities. Identify relevant data (for example, Twitter feeds) on the fly. That data is then sent to the LLM for efficiency.
Many people seem to think that ChatGPT knows it all. According to AlphaVenture Chief Technology Officer Saad Mughal, that’s not true.
For example, your Twitter timeline may be filled with political opinions. Still, asking ChatGPT to draft a short article about your political leanings may yield nothing. This is because ChatGPT does not access public data at that granular level. A “context layer” is needed to get this kind of AI-based insight. It’s an AI engine made up of code that runs “thousands of lines” written by Mr. Mughal and his CEO of AlphaVenture, Hammad Khan.
So set your Twitter handle (or someone else’s handle) to be a “Twitter lookalike bot” and wait a few seconds for the AI engine to scan all your tweets. That context layer filters the timeline to identify the most representative tweets and sends the selected data to her ChatGPT with specific queries. Results will come right back in the form of brief biographies, personalized wraps and dating profiles.
AI engines are more than just fun tools. The company has already pledged large sums of money to creators as it is already exploring ways to monetize it.
According to user feedback, the rap feature (personalized songs that you can compose and sing on the fly) is especially popular.
Working with AI-based tools that generate music to turn your raps into real songs is very important. So does the idea of collaborating with dating apps that want to incorporate AI-generated dating profile functionality into their platforms.
Admittedly, the context engine is still error prone. For example, his AI-generated profile of former Finance Minister Miftah Ismail shows that he studied electrical engineering at California State University (which he didn’t) and has a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University. (also incorrect).
Mughal said these were early issues that have been fixed as the tools have improved over time. Using multiple of his LLMs (in addition to ChatGPT) also improves the accuracy of the engine, he added.
