Monitoring patients remotely without violating privacy is a daunting task. But one of her co-founders believes she cracked the code.
We are pleased to announce that we will be speaking with Romi Gubes, CEO of Sensi.AI.This TechCrunch Live Event will feature Sensi, general partner at Flint Capital and formerly founder of enterprise asset management firm AB Systems. Sergey Gribov, Director of AI, will participate.
This TechCrunch Live event is free to attend. Please join us. Register here.
Interviews cover a variety of topics. In particular, the technical aspects of Sensi.AI’s platform, which ostensibly monitors patient rooms in a privacy-preserving manner. There’s naturally a lot of skepticism about techniques like Sensi.AI, given the tendency of algorithms to pick up on bias in the data they’re trained on.
Gubes will talk about Sensi.AI’s engineering process and steps needed to address false alerts and biases. He also explains how Sensi.AI was born, and despite the challenges in the broader startup economy and the competitiveness of his tech market, to date he has raised $25 million in venture capital. I will also explain how I was able to raise the dollar.
Gubes and Gribov will also be out of Sensi.AI to talk about the growing interest in AI in applications ranging from healthcare to industrial control to marketing. Gribov offers an investor’s perspective, taking a stand for or against the idea that the AI frenzy won’t die down anytime soon. He is well positioned to do so as he has been in IT, software development, operations and general administration for over 15 years.
