Google has launched the advanced AI video generation tool VEO 3 in India through the Gemini app under the AI Pro Subscription Tier. VEO 3 allows users to create high-resolution videos using simple text or image prompts. The AI Pro subscription, which costs £1,999 per month, offers access to this powerful tool, and Google also offers a free, one-month trial for users to investigate its features.

“We are pleased to share that the latest AI video generation model, Veo 3, is being deployed in India via the Google AI Pro subscription for the Gemini app,” Google said in an official statement.

First introduced in Google I/O 2025, Google's VEO 3 quickly became the hot topic AI video generator, with users flooding social media with creative clips. The tool is expanding to India via the Gemini app under the AI Pro Subscription Tier, offering the ability for users to create short, high quality videos from simple prompts.

VEO 3 can generate 8-second video at 720p resolution using either text or image input. Unlike previous models, it includes background music, sound effects and synthesized speeches, making the video more immersive. Originally part of Google's $249.99/month AI Ultra Plan, but a faster, lighter version called Veo 3 Fast was released in June. This version is currently included in India's £1,999/month AI Pro plan and is designed to provide quick results with backend upgrades.

To access VEO 3 in India, users must download the Gemini app on Android or iOS and subscribe to the AI Pro plan. Subscribers can generate up to three VEO 3 high speed videos every day. Once this limit is reached, the app will return to using VEO 2, a previous model with fewer features but more recent updates. Video generation is as simple as typing a creative prompt, and AI provides fully rendered clips with audio.

To ensure safety and prevent misuse, Google embeds both visible and invisible watermarks in every VEO 3 video. What's invisible is powered by Google's SynthID technology, which helps AI track content generated. Additionally, we implement moderation tools and strict usage policies to protect against harmful or misleading possible output.
