Google Slides will now have Duet AI built-in, allowing it to create images based solely on written prompts, similar to its competitor DALL-E.

The user can enter something like ‘a picture of sunglasses on the beach’ and a sample image will be generated, and further fine-tuning can be done by writing prompts.

Google claimed the images were studio-quality, but said the company’s real power lies in its ability to visualize things that don’t exist.

Uses include brainstorming early concepts for marketers and creating unique visions for artists.

Another product in the PaLM 2 suite was Sec-PaLM, A specialized version trained for security use cases in cybersecurity.

“This capability, available through Google Cloud, uses AI to analyze and explain the behavior of potentially malicious scripts, enabling unprecedented speed to determine which scripts actually pose a threat to people and organizations. It will help us detect it better in ,” the company said.
