How does Google Vids work?
In addition to basic editing tools, Google Vids offers built-in AI features to assist users throughout the video creation process. Start with a prompt to describe the video you're creating. Then select a file in Google Drive or use stock content provided by Google in your video. The AI then generates a storyboard based on these inputs.

You can also customize your videos and read scripts by reordering segments, adding transitions, choosing a template, and inserting audio tracks or preset voices using Google Gemini.
Additionally, Google Vids also facilitates seamless team collaboration in real-time. All project edits and assets reside within the platform and are accessible to anyone with appropriate permissions, ensuring a secure and efficient workflow similar to other Google Workspace tools.

First released on Workspace Labs in June 2024, Google Vids will be available only to Workspace subscribers, with a public version set for a later release.
