The Google Pixel 8a borrows some AI features from its siblings, the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. The device is confirmed to come with Best Take, Circle to Search, and AI Audio Magic Eraser tools. For the uninitiated, Best Take uses AI to select the best shot from several photos. The Circle to Search feature lets you quickly perform a Google Lens search by drawing or circling something on your screen. The Audio Magic Eraser tool automatically cuts background noise from your footage.
The promotion also revealed three color variants: Blue, Black, and Beige (unofficial name). Other AI features like live translation are also coming.
