The Google Pixel 10 series is scheduled to be announced on August 20th alongside the company's latest Pixel Buds and Pixel Watch models. The company is actively introducing the designs of the new Pixel family, which are expected to make up the Google Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL and Pixel 10 Pro Fold models via its social media platform. In the latest teaser, Google appears to be digging into Apple, highlighting the delay in deploying Apple Intelligence upgrades to SIRI.

Google teases the Pixel 10 series while laughing at Apple's delayed AI feature

With the latest Pixel 10 teaser, Google laughed at its unfulfilled promise of Apple's Siri's AI upgrade. The video narration ironically states that if you buy a new phone for a feature that is coming soon, and if you come in for a year soon, you can change the definition of the word 'quickly' or change the phone.

The 30-second teaser video flashes the phrase “Ask more for your phone” and continues on August 20th with the official release date of the Pixel 10 series.

Google's Jibe appears to be linked to the delayed deployment of Apple's promised Siri AI upgrades. The iPhone maker announced SIRI and AI extensions at WWDC 2024 last year. These upgrades were originally expected to arrive on iOS 18.4 for the iPhone 16 series. However, there are multiple delays on the rollout, suggesting that some of these features may not start until 2026. This has made users uncertain about their actual release timeline.

Google is likely to sell the Pixel 10 as a fully AI-ready smartphone, and Apple is subtly targeting the deployment of postponed AI features.

Google's Pixel 10 lineup will include the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro fold models. They could be fired alongside the Pixel Watch 4 and Pixel Buds 2a. The new phone is rumoured to run on the tensor G5 chipset using Android 16.

Pixel 10 is tipped to debut with a starting price tag of $799 (approx. Rs. 70,000), while the Pixel 10 Pro can start at $999 (approx. Rs. 87,500). The Pixel 10 Pro XL can be launched with an initial price tag of $1,199 (approx. Rs. 1,05,000), but the starting price for the Pixel 10 Pro fold is expected to be $1,799 (approx. Rs. 1,57,600).
