When you bring videos and remixes to people, you can see that it is important to provide transparency when you create or edit images using photo and video generation tools. All videos and photos generated from videos and remixes from photos include invisible Synthid digital watermarks, like images edited using Reimagine in photos. Videos generated with photos include visual watermarks for increased transparency, just like those shown in video generated with Gemini.
We are taking safety precautions to ensure that you have a good experience with remixing photos and remixing. This includes a wide range of “red teams” to proactively identify and address potential issues, as well as a thorough assessment to understand how these features can be used and prevented misuse.
These features are experimental and I know that some outputs are not what you expect or may be inaccurate. Use the generated image and video up and down buttons to provide feedback. This is used to continuously improve safety measures and overall experience.
