Below is a list of the 10 courses offered:
- Introducing Generative AI: This is an introductory level microlearning course designed to explain what Generative AI is, how it is used, and how it differs from traditional machine learning techniques. It also introduces Google tools that can help you develop your own Gen AI apps. The course is estimated to take approximately 45 minutes to complete.
- Introduction to large-scale language models: This introductory-level microlearning course explains what Large Scale Language Models (LLMs) are, use cases where they can be leveraged, how to improve LLM performance using prompt tuning, and introduces Google tools that can help you develop your own Gen AI apps. This course is estimated to take approximately 45 minutes to complete.
- Introducing Responsible AI: This is an introductory-level microlearning course that explains responsible AI, why it's important, and how Google implements responsible AI in our products. It also introduces Google's 7 AI Principles.
- Generative AI Basics: Earn skill badges by completing the Introduction to Generative AI, Introduction to Large-Scale Language Models, and Introduction to Responsible AI courses, and pass the final quiz to demonstrate your understanding of the fundamental concepts of Generative AI.
- Image Generation Overview: This course introduces diffusion models, a family of machine learning models that have recently shown promise in the field of image generation. Diffusion models are inspired by physics, specifically thermodynamics. Over the last few years, diffusion models have become increasingly popular in research and industry. Diffusion models are the basis for many state-of-the-art image generation models and tools on Google Cloud. This course covers the theory of diffusion models and how to train and deploy them with Vertex AI.
- Encoder/Decoder Architecture: This course provides an overview of encoders and decoders. The architecture is a powerful and popular machine learning architecture for sequence-to-sequence tasks such as machine translation, text summarization, and question answering. You will learn the main components of the encoder-decoder architecture and how to train and serve these models. In the corresponding lab walkthrough, you will code from scratch a simple implementation of the encoder-decoder architecture for poetry generation in TensorFlow.
- Attention mechanism: This course introduces the attention mechanism, a powerful technique that allows neural networks to focus on specific parts of an input sequence. You will learn how attention works and how it can improve performance in a variety of machine learning tasks, including machine translation, text summarization, and question answering.
- Transformer and BERT models: This course introduces the Transformer architecture and the Bidirectional Encoder Representations from the Transformers (BERT) model. You will learn the key components of the Transformer architecture, such as the self-attention mechanism, and how it can be used to build a BERT model. You will also learn about the various tasks for which BERT can be used, such as text classification, question answering, and natural language inference.
- Create an image captioning model: In this course, you will learn how to create an image captioning model using deep learning. You will learn about the different components of an image captioning model, such as the encoder and decoder, and learn how to train and evaluate the model. After completing this course, you will be able to create an image captioning model and use it to generate captions for images.
- Introducing Generative AI Studio: This course introduces you to Generative AI Studio, a product from Vertex AI that helps you prototype and customize generative AI models and use their capabilities in your applications. As you walk through a product demo, you'll learn about Generative AI Studio, its features and options, and how to use it. At the end, you'll test your knowledge with a quiz.
