Dallas-based global professional services firm RGP (Nasdaq: RGP) has named Jessica Block as Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer. RGP said Block will advance RGP’s internal AI capabilities, expand the solutions RGP can offer clients, and help clients continue to learn, integrate and expand how to effectively use AI to achieve their objectives.
RGP said the new role puts AI at the core of the company’s identity and goes beyond just adopting the latest tools to help employees develop the knowledge and judgment to understand what’s changing in RGP’s work, its clients’ businesses and the markets around them.
The company added that Block will lead the implementation of AI for RGP and its customers “in a thoughtful manner that protects sensitive information and ensures responsible use.” RGP said a key part of her role is connecting AI across teams and ensuring knowledge and innovation flows throughout the organization in ways that expand RGP’s AI capabilities and impact.
RGP CEO Roger Carlisle said Block’s hiring is “a key moment for RGP as we evolve our AI capabilities across the company in a way that enhances both the way we operate and the way we serve our customers.”
“Jessica brings the leadership, execution and practical perspective to make that happen,” he added in a statement. “I have witnessed her lead several businesses through periods of growth and change, and I am confident she will help expand our capabilities and strengthen the judgment-driven work that our clients value most.”
Block’s experience includes 20 years of leadership and AI experience across consulting, legal services, technology, and transformation. Her experience will enable RGP to address a broader range of customer problems and innovate and evolve the way it solves those problems, the company said.
Previous positions at Factor, An Kura and FTI Consulting.
According to RGP, Mr. Block has spent more than a decade at FTI Consulting in senior roles serving large corporate and law firm clients on complex technology-driven issues using technology tools such as predictive analytics and automation. She then contributed to An Kura’s growth as part of the executive leadership team as the company expanded both organically and through acquisitions.
RGP said she most recently served on Factor’s executive team, leading the AI transformation of a global company and advising a Fortune 500 legal department on AI applications. Block added, “He brings hands-on experience building, testing, and applying AI-enabled tools, workflows, and services in real-world production and client service environments.”

RGP, which is based in Dallas and has offices around the world, said it engages with more than 1,500 clients around the world each year from 40 physical clinic locations and multiple virtual offices.
