As China is at the forefront of global AI (artificial intelligence) application innovation and overseas markets are rich with opportunities in related fields, China is organizing events that will give participants the opportunity to present their innovative ideas on the global stage.

The 2nd Digiloong Cup Global AI Innovation Competition (Digiloong GAIC), organized by Century Huatong (Century Games’ parent company), was officially launched on April 2, with the aim of supporting the creation of a full-chain empowerment system focused on AI innovation and industrial application, and the translation of AI into real productivity.

Century Huatong’s investment department provides special investment connection services for high-quality projects, cooperates with well-known venture capital institutions, and builds an exclusive and efficient investment matching channel for participating teams to help projects obtain financial support.

Mr. Fang Hui, CSO of Century Huatong, invited global developers and young entrepreneurial talents to provide high-quality ideas and viable commercialization schemes, and closely track the trends of AI technology.

Last year, the first Digiloong GAIC was successfully held, with more than 150 high-quality and innovative teams from all over the world participating and achieving fruitful results. After a rigorous judging process, 11 teams stood out from the crowd and took home honors in six award categories.

This year’s contest has a complete schedule and entries will be accepted from April 2nd to May 31st. Preliminary selection will take place from June 1st to June 15th, with the first round of specialized examinations. The reselection and finalist period will run from June 16th to June 30th.

Offline judging of finalists will take place in mid-to-late July for the offline professional contest.

The award ceremony will be held at ChinaJoy 2026 on July 31st to announce the winners and recognize outstanding AI innovation achievements.

In terms of track design, the second phase of Digiloong GAIC has expanded the track and set up three main tracks: AI games, AI applications, and AI agents, to fully cover the core application areas of current AI technology.

Meanwhile, local empowerment is a key highlight of this year’s event, as organizers collaborate with multiple partners to organize distinctive offline activities in three cities: Hangzhou, Macau and Shanghai.

“This new arrangement will help build a regional innovation support network, revitalize AI innovation vitality in various regions, promote the innovative development of the AI industry in regions such as the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Yangtze River Delta, and expand the global influence of competition,” Fan said.

The 2nd Digiloong GAIC pays more attention to post-competition incubation and long-term support of participating projects. In addition to cash compensation, we have created a diverse and distinctive compensation system that provides participating teams with comprehensive privileges ranging from exposure, resources, capital, and technology to ensure that high-quality, innovative projects receive continued development support after the competition.

The core feature of this contest is “one registration, two contest participation”, as it is closely related to the 4th Cultural Creation Shanghai Innovation and Entrepreneurship Contest. Digiloong GAIC shortlisted teams will be able to simultaneously participate in the selection of the latter “Intelligent Future +” track, unlocking double exposure opportunities, multiple policy support, and rich industry resources for participating teams.

Moreover, all quality participating projects will be included in the contest’s resource pool and continuously enjoy the contest’s empowerment dividend, realizing the long-term development of the project.

Since its establishment, Digiloong GAIC has been committed to building a platform for AI innovation and industrial applications and helping cutting-edge AI technologies achieve breakthroughs and commercial implementation.

The 2nd Digiloong GAIC is expected to promote the acceleration of commercial implementation of cutting-edge achievements such as AI games, AI applications, and AI agents, and will continue to inject momentum into the quality development of China’s digital economy and AI industry, Fan pointed out.
