[Updated] Google search AI mode
AI Pro subscribers have access to Gemini 3 Pro with “Inference and Generative Layouts.” “AI Mode” is a drop-down menu in the top left corner, and the “default” model provides “fast all-round help.”
On the web, you can access the model picker before submitting your prompt. For now, you can also access Deep Search, powered by 2.5 Pro, at google.com/aimode to “run more advanced queries and return longer, more detailed responses.” Like Gemini’s Deep Research, it takes a few minutes to respond. Google performs “hundreds of searches” and makes inferences “across a wide range of information” to produce “comprehensive, fully cited reports.” Google may ask for more information before starting the process.
You also get “best in class” Nano Banana image generation and editing, as well as AI-powered local business pricing.
Google Home Premium
Google Home Premium Standard was formerly Nest Aware, which cost an additional $10 per month. What you get:
- gemini live: Available for Nest Mini, Nest Hub Max, Nest Audio, and 2nd generation Nest Hub.

- intelligent alerts: Familiar recognition, garage door detection, luggage detection, smoke/carbon monoxide alarm

This Google Labs experiment will be announced in 2024 and uses images of subjects, scenes, and styles as prompts. The Whisk Animate feature uses Veo to turn images into short videos.

At I/O 2025, Google announced Flow, an AI filmmaking suite for video creation and editing. It provides features such as text to video, material to video, and frames to video.
