Buxer: Buxar, the startup cell of Government Engineering College (GEC), on Tuesday organized an expert exchange session for B Tech students on the theme 'From university to industry: Careers, startups and the role of AI'.”The program aimed to give students an understanding of current industry requirements, startup culture, and the growing importance of AI. The session featured Gokul Ojha, a renowned technology and startup ecosystem expert, as the keynote speaker.Speaking at the opening ceremony, GEC Principal Ram Naresh Rai said that the purpose of technical education is not limited to awarding degrees, but to equip students with innovation, entrepreneurship and practical skills. He highlighted that startup culture and AI are the key drivers of the future and urged students to engage in continuous learning to contribute to Atmanirbharat.
He shared insights on industry-ready skills, practical applications of AI, new career opportunities, and the basics of building a startup.The program was attended by Gaurav, Head of Startup Node.
