Front Mission 3: Remake – The latest AI horror story (Forever Entertainment)

Friday's text page feels bad about the rumored Xbox layoffs. Battlefront 3, as some readers believe Star Wars has a real chance.

Bad enough
I don't know what a front mission is, but the storyline about a remake that replaces all the artwork with AI trash is awful. I subcontract that square Enix's work to a great company, but I still hate it. Again, “Assent” is the best suction company and yet still doesn't even reach that standard. What makes me sad is that most people are.

AI clearly doesn't work – there's always when you try to search for it – but if you ignore that one inconvenient fact, you might save a few seconds of work each time you use it. So it's enough to care about anyone who turns a robot into a helicopter or speaks to Lenin's replacement.

The first time I remember knowing the game-generated AI was Call of Duty's six-finger zombie, but there were already two controversies this week.

I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that this could ruin all the games, not just bad quality visuals, but also developers and Microsoft looting, as they are trying to make games with AI. Can you imagine how bad it is? Rumors are that these Xbox layoffs are connected to AI and convince other companies that rely on them and remove people with decades of experience.

Infinite fear
I hate this imminent ull of more Xbox developers. It was said that it was inevitable because all acquisitions are like that, but this would only be Microsoft's chainsaws to dozens of completely good developers.

I'm reading X and a bunch of UK studios worry. I think that means it means the end of the team's ninja. There's also the story of the team behind Forza Motorsport (not Horizon).

Whatever happens, the worst is probably not the last time. It has already happened twice, and this third one looks like the biggest ever.

There's another one
In case you're not monitoring it, Star Wars: Battlefront 2 is still more popular on Steam. Several big name streamers have started playing and appear to be gaining more and more players.

I really think there's a chance that EA could focus on making something else. Except… there's a big problem. One of the main reasons it's so popular is that it's only £3.49 on Steam (£18 on the PlayStation Store). I think it's just tempting EA to try to make something of a sort of free-to-play, apex legendary type.

I really hope they do have a proper sequel. All of Andor's ideas were grounded combat, not lightsabers, but it's amazing.

Sharing is compassionate
Re: Phil and Free Game Pass: Someone else has set your console as a “home” console for the past two years, but have you played it mostly elsewhere? If so, you can use their Game Pass subscription.

There are both Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, and the Xbox Series X is the console I use.

However, my “home” console is the Xbox Series S. So, kids can use this console, but you can use Game Pass subscriptions in your profile, but not your home console, but you can use Game Pass subscriptions on Xbox Series X. This is a handy feature that has been around for a while, but hasn't been well documented for obvious reasons that Microsoft wants to spend more money on subscriptions.

That may be the reason. Otherwise, well done with having a free game pass for the past two years!

Celebrity transformation
I'll say this about the new Donkey Kong game, I'm 100% selling with DK's own redesign. Compared to the original, which basically only had one expression, the reboot is full of personality and I love it. I've already played as him all the time at Mario Kart World. If the new game gets good reviews, I look forward to playing him too.

Companies should not be afraid to reinvent things from time to time. The last thing we needed was another stupidly difficult 2D game, and Bananza looks much more interesting than that.

Teflon fill
This may seem strange to say about a $3 trillion company, but I feel a lot of sympathy for Microsoft. Rather, I feel a lot of sympathy for the ordinary Xbox workers. Not only does Xbox have a constant threat of layoffs hanging from his head, it seems he is doing his best to make the entire Xbox work.

The Xbox 360 is 20 years old this year, but can you imagine Sony and Nintendo still support the PlayStation 3 or GameCube? Well, half of the update was an ad for the Xbox Series X, but after all these years there was a real update on the dashboard, and for that we need to respect Microsoft workers. The Xbox especially has the best backward compatibility in the class, and there's really no reason to play the actual Xbox 360 anyway.

After a good summer showcase, the upcoming Xbox lineup looks good (actually, rather than wasting more time with Halo and Gears of War, I'll focus on new franchises, but that's just me), and Game Pass is getting better value every day. If things were fair, Xbox would be doing great, but instead it feels like it's constantly on the edge of disaster.

I blame Xbox management completely and not be able to see any of them with their stupid smiles while they know what's actually going on. I don't know how any of their recent announcements will work, but no matter how many mistakes they make, the only people who think it's been punished are ordinary developers.

Still online
Sorry to ask this GC, but I have never owned an Xbox so I don't know. I just read that the Xbox 360 received the update a few days ago and I also found out they defeated the store.

Can I play the game online on the Xbox 360 or offline only?
David

GC: As long as the server is run by Microsoft, this is for the majority of the game, but it is playable online. But they run their own servers, so like other companies with a particular title, those by EA won't work.

There's no mistake
I think I'll wait a few more weeks to see what Switch 2's biggest single player launch window game is like before I decide for myself, but I don't think Nintendo would think they'd be fumbled or disappointed.

With the exception of reported third-party sales and minor Mario Kart backlash, things seem to be undeserved, and from people who apparently have no effort involved.

Console sales appear to exceed expectations. The Mario Kart World Bundle works particularly well (which makes this deal a bit confusing that it is taken for granted in some circles).

This gives you two exclusive, and hopefully high quality big games that will be popular in the first six weeks and truly new Gen. If these patterns were followed, I've seen Metroid Prime 4 as a cross-gen launch title.

When it comes to revealing the pipeline, it has been clear for years that showing what they deemed sufficient would be far more favorable for Nintendo compared to showing a full hand. I don't expect a killer app that's not announced for Christmas, but I'm not worried about sitting with my legs until 2027.

GC: From a business standpoint, the Switch 2 has been a clear success for Nintendo.

This probably makes little sense, but I think I prefer Mario Kart 8 because it somehow manages to make the atmosphere of Mario Kart 64.

I'm not surprised Nintendo will patch the trick to get a 3-lap race. It's Nintendo in a nutshell, it's their way or the highway!
