As part of a national dynamic to modernize health systems, this partnership is based on a shared belief that the convergence of medicine, engineering and artificial intelligence is the means to more accessible, efficient and resilient health care in Morocco and Africa.

Joint venture will start operation from October 2026

The joint venture plans to deploy the first solutions from October 2026. The border is expected to cover several health facilities in Morocco by 2027, and then be extended to the rest of the African continent in a second phase.

Its intervention areas cover the entire health value chain, including medical research, clinical AI, telemedicine, community health, biomedical engineering, simulation, biomonitoring, emergency management, home hospitalization, public health, and health tech startup development.

The implementation is based on three main strategic axes.

  • Research and public health: Developing applied research programs in AI, precision medicine, and One Health approaches. Its goal is to support over 50 research programs and over 100 international publications and communications by 2030, supported by the establishment of the African Epidemiology Observatory by the end of 2026.
  • Modernizing clinical practice: Accelerating telemedicine and immersive training. The goal is to train more than 100,000 healthcare workers in AI, implement digital solutions in hundreds of facilities, and conduct more than 25 million remote consultations and expertises by 2030.
  • Health tech industry ecosystem: The emergence of a Moroccan reference center in healthtech, medical technology and biotechnology. The structure plans to support over 100 innovative start-ups, promote Africa’s technology champions and contribute to the creation of over 50 intellectual property assets and patents.

Designed and operated in Morocco, this common platform aims to be a real catalyst for innovation for professionals, researchers, students and public decision-makers.
