Apple's “Let Loose” event announced new iPad Air and iPad Pro models, but Final Cut Pro could be the app that provides the right features for the new M4 chip.
Announced with a new version of Logic Pro, Apple is focusing on AI-based features to take video editing on tablets to the next level, adding new tools that are also available on Mac.
A highlight addition on the iPad is the ability to use Live Multicam, which receives four camera feeds simultaneously through the new Final Cut Camera app running on iPad and iPhone, and allows users to use Final Cut Pro for iPad 2. You will be able to connect to the app wirelessly. It works as a standalone professional video capture app.
Users will also be able to edit from external drives on their iPads as long as they have iPadOS 17.5 or later. According to Apple, he will be able to separate his subject from the background in Final Cut Pro with a single tap. I'm using the new M4 iPad Pro. It also takes advantage of new features offered by Apple Pencil Pro, such as haptic feedback and shortcut menus.

More AI features for Mac video editors
Mac users with Apple Silicon will now be able to use new AI features such as “Light and Color Enhancement,” which Apple says will help “improve color, color balance, contrast, and brightness in one easy step.” It offers features that improve the quality of SDR, HDR, RAW and log-encoded media.
Smooth Slo-Mo intelligently generates and blends frames of your video. You can also now rename color corrections and video effects in the editor.
As of this writing, Apple hasn't revealed when any Final Cut updates will be available, other than the iPad version of “Spring,” along with Final Cut Camera.
Both are free for existing users. New users will have to pay $4.99/£4.99 per month (or $49/£49 per year) for Final Cut Pro for iPad 2, while the Mac version remains $299.99.
