Jackson passed away on June 25, 2009. Reed Stories obtained his amended death certificate in 2019. It was clearly stated: Michael Joseph Jackson died on June 25, 2009, and was buried on August 3, 2009 at Forest Lawn Memorial in Glendale, California. This is a close-up of the third page of the updated death certificate, showing that Jackson was buried, not cremated. It is a crime for a funeral director to provide false information on a document, so Lead Stories confirms that the document is genuine.
