A video interview featuring Bill Gates from the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) News has been digitized by artificial intelligence (AI) to add false arguments about vaccines and Microsoft.

In the video circulating, you can see Australian journalist Sarah Ferguson interviewing Microsoft founder Bill Gates.
“Mr. Gates, in your own words, what contribution have you made to the world?” she seemed to ask.
“I don’t know if you know, but I created the world’s most popular computer operating system,” Gates replied seemingly.
After accusing him of stealing the Windows operating system from someone else, she asked questions that touched on COVID-19 and suggested he profited from vaccines.

Reading the comments section of the post on several platforms where the post was shared revealed that many viewers did not suspect that the video had been altered.
However, one social media user who saw the original interview warned that the actual version of the interview never had such a discussion about Microsoft and the COVID-19 vaccine.

Apparently, Bill Gates seems to have been interviewed Sarah Ferguson Australian journaliston an ABC News program called “7.30.”
A check by TheCable revealed that some of the dialogue shared in the video circulating on social media was missing from the original video.
In an authentic interview, the host discusses climate change, philanthropy, misinformation, A New Pandemic Threat and Unfortunately a Dinner with Mr. Gates Jeffrey Epstein.
Further analysis of the circulating video also shows that the audio does not match the facial and lip movements of both the interviewer and Gates.
verdict
The circulating audio has been altered using deepfake technology. The content of the original interview is significantly different from what was discussed in the defaced video.
