Fake online ads featuring business tycoon Lancegonvey, who drives online investments through perhaps unnamed apps, are actually content manipulated through artificial intelligence.
On April 2, 2025, the Facebook page “Scène Prod” was followed by a link that leads to websites that are not accessible, including DON'TTTMISHOTHHEOPORUIYTTOBEfirstto.
The fraudulent ads featured Deepfaked Gokongwei, which states that the app will help Filipinos earn up to P500,000 without taxes through investment.
It was also included Secretary General Lucas Versamin. Lucas Bersamine approved gokongwei and supported the project, presumably including Banco Central Ng Pilipinas (BSP).
