Extreme Plot Enterprise Marketplace for AI agents, tools, and apps

Applications of AI

Extreme Networks this week previewed its AI Marketplace, which will offer a curated catalog of AI tools, agents, and applications. The service, called Extreme Exchange, is designed to provide a way for enterprise customers to discover, deploy and create components such as AI agents, microapps and workflows in minutes rather than having to develop them on their own, the vendor said.

“AI is transforming enterprise productivity and breaking down silos with agent solutions that automate repetitive and error-prone tasks and chat interfaces that instantly turn thousands of pages of documents into answers,” said Nabil Bukhari, president, executive vice president, and chief technology officer of the AI platform at Extreme, in a blog about the Exchange preview. “However, AI sprawl is accelerating, inundating enterprises with countless agents and apps with unclear ROI. Many tools are inflexible, complex to deploy, and require costly upskilling. Inconsistent procurement, pricing, governance, and monitoring across vendors creates friction and remains a major barrier to adoption.”

Exchange makes it easier for customers to discover AI tools built for networking and business use cases that offer plug-and-play simplicity. Additionally, users can develop microapps that blend network and business data to provide new insights and opportunities. Think of it as an app store for AI-powered networking, built for enterprise-grade reliability, security and scalability, Buhari said.
