Panelists highlighted the potential of AI to improve climate forecasts, enhance resource management and accelerate the shift towards renewable energy. At the same time, they warned that access to high-quality data, modern computing capabilities and robust governance frameworks is essential to success.

Participants urged policymakers to prioritize investments in AI-driven agricultural projects, such as virtual advisory platforms for farmers.
Experts also called for close cooperation between African countries to share data and best practices and learn from successful models in other countries to fully realize the possibilities of AI in addressing climate challenges.
