Equinox Virtual has launched the first episode of Mohini, an original AI musical microdrama series created in partnership with Google Cloud, on Instagram and YouTube. The first episode will be released on May 15, 2026. Created and written by Amita Madhvani, CEO and co-founder of Equinox Virtual, Mohini is the studio’s flagship original IP in the new digital format storytelling slate. The series reimagines the musical as an episodic microdrama. Emotionally moving, visually dynamic and built for a global digital audience. Mohini centers on a female protagonist who navigates identity, fantasy, ambition, and reinvention, themes that resonate across cultures and generations.This collaboration leverages Google Cloud’s advanced AI infrastructure and generative media models to explore a new generation of digital storytelling. Equinox Virtual leveraged Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform and next-generation AI models across creative development and production workflows. These include Gemini for script and lyrics generation, Nano Banana for image generation, and Veo for video generation.
