Small businesses employ nearly half of the U.S. workforce and account for 43.5% of U.S. GDP. But they continue to suffer growing pains. According to a recent Microsoft survey, 59% of small business owners want to generate new ideas for growth but are hindered by daily demands, including tasks like: Customer communicationaccounting, administrative tasks such as data entry and scheduling.

AI offers a solution by automating these tasks, but it is too costly for SMEs, leaving them left behind in terms of technology. Enso was founded to fill this gap by providing SMEs with affordable autonomous service providers that offer the highest quality at a fraction of the cost.

“Running a small business means you're constantly in survival mode, lacking the resources and expertise that larger companies have,” said Enso CEO Mickey Haslavsky. “While AI has rapidly become accessible to larger companies, that's not the case for small businesses. We built Enso to make AI accessible to companies serving traditional industries, so they can compete on an equal footing with larger companies instead of spending money on agency services that will break the bank.”

Enso's platform is centered around an innovative concept called Guided AI Agents, designed to overcome the unpredictability and unreliability often found in traditional AI agents. Traditional AI agents frequently make autonomous decisions that can lead to erroneous outcomes, limiting their ability to deliver consistent, high-quality services at scale. Additionally, Enso plans to launch a “Guided AI Agent Builder” for developers to build and sell services to small and medium-sized businesses on the platform.
