The future of learning is here. Samsung Electronics America is empowering teachers to lead the future of learning. As AI, machine learning, and other emerging technologies change the future of education, Samsung has partnered with Adobe to bring together 50 educators from across the country for Teacher Academy, an immersive experience designed to bring AI-powered learning to life in classrooms across the country.
This experiential workshop comes at a critical moment when classrooms across the country are seeking greater access to new technologies and meaningful training that will shape their jobs and livelihoods. Samsung’s latest research highlights the gap. More than half of teachers (53%) say they have not received formal training to use AI in the classroom, and this number jumps to 64% in under-resourced schools, despite 88% believing AI will play an important role in their students’ future.
“Teachers play a critical role in helping students turn ideas into action,” he said. Alison StranskyChief Marketing Officer of Samsung Electronics America. “By investing in professional development that blends creativity, technology, and storytelling, Samsung Teacher Academy helps educators confidently bring these tools into the classroom and help students use them.”
The 1.5-day Teacher Academy workshop brought together Samsung Solve for Tomorrow semi-finalist teachers for hands-on training focused on leveraging video storytelling, creative technology, and classroom-ready AI innovations.
This session allowed educators to take the lead in inspiring the next generation of innovators. The academy focuses on guiding students through Samsung Solve for Tomorrow, a STEM competition for public school students in grades 6-12 that provides teachers with practical skills to help students turn STEM-based prototypes into compelling stories. By turning complex ideas into engaging stories, educators foster innovation, foster collaboration, and prepare students to tackle real-world challenges with confidence and creativity.
One teacher shared this: “We are amazed by Samsung for providing us with this opportunity. This is corporate citizenship at its finest.”
The other one is reflected, “I love the Adobe and Samsung spaces. I have something ready to take home and use with my students or share with my department. Our facilitators are top-notch!!”
The national winner of last year’s competition added: “I’ve never been in a classroom full of adults who care so much about children. That’s what’s really special about SFT. We have teachers who always go above and beyond to ensure their students’ success.”
During the workshop, teachers engaged in hands-on interactive sessions, exploring video creation, storytelling, and even applying the “Hero’s Journey” to the “Solve for Tomorrow” project. They experimented with some of the most breakthrough technologies of 2025, including Adobe’s TIME 2025 Best Invention – Enhance Speech, an AI tool that sharpens speech in noisy spaces, and learned rapid engineering skills to build bots for workflow automation. This is a practical strategy that you can immediately take back to your classroom.
The workshop also gave educators the opportunity to connect with peers across the country, share best practices, and exchange ideas about how technology can support learning in diverse classroom environments.
Teacher Academy is part of Samsung’s larger mission to support education and prepare students for the future workforce. Samsung’s 2025 State of STEM Education Survey found that 59% of educators believe professional development, updated curriculum resources, collaboration with technology experts, or better technology are essential.
Samsung has reached millions of teachers and students across the country through programs such as Solve for Tomorrow. In the United States, the program has provided $29 million in technology and classroom resources to more than 6,000 schools. By directly supporting educators, Teacher Academy ensures these opportunities are more than just one contest. We bring STEM, storytelling, and AI into the classroom every day, giving teachers the tools, strategies, and inspiration to shape tomorrow’s innovators.
