X and Xai, the companies owned by Elon Musk, have filed lawsuits against Apple and Openai, denounced the “anti-competitive scheme” to limit the growth of their AI rivals. According to a CNBC report, the recent lawsuit alleges that the two companies “conspired” to maintain their monopoly in the smartphone and generator AI market. Legal complaints also accused Openai's ChatGpt of integrating Apple's ChatGpt into Apple's products, prioritizing Openai's ChatGpt and aggressively stealing competing AI chatbots such as Xai's Grok in the App Store rankings. The lawsuit follows the public threat of masks earlier this month, suing Apple for what he called “A clear anti-trust violation.”
