Drake’s voice was used again for another track uploaded to the internet by artificial intelligence, and fans love the result.
The track titled “Winter’s Cold” was posted to Soundcloud on Tuesday (April 18th) by someone known as Lvcci and features artificial vocals from the Toronto rap star. This track has already earned him over 120,000 listeners on the platform.

“First let me just say that AI shit is evil and immoral. What has already happened and what can happen to artists and the industry with this tech is disgusting,” one fan tweeted. That being said, that AI Drake Winter cold song is the hardest thing to drop this year!!”
Another user wrote: It sounds like fucking real. They are trying to strictly ban ai songs. ”
“Wishing AI music this summer? AI artists have done it again with Winter Cold by Drake,” someone tweeted, while a fourth person added, “AI Drake bangs. I’m sorry I shivered in the winter cold.”

The rapper’s voice was also recently used on another AI-influenced track, “heart on my sleeve” featuring The Weeknd. The AI-generated song features two trade bars about the latter’s ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.
After first being posted to Youtube by someone named Ghostwriter, the track was shared to Apple, Tidal, Deezer and Spotify. The latter reportedly garnered over 630,000 listens.
Universal Music Group, to which both Drizzy and The Weeknd are currently signed, has since removed the track from all aforementioned platforms, in a lengthy statement (via) music week) commented on the rise of “deep fakes” and asked “which side of history” stakeholders would like to be on.
“UMG’s success is partly due to embracing new technology and leveraging it for our artists, something we have already been doing for some time with our own innovations around AI.” the statement began.
“But having said that, training generative AI with an artist’s music (which means both a breach of contract and a violation of copyright law) and infringements made with generative AI on DSPs. The availability of content is a question of which side of history all stakeholders in the music ecosystem want to be on: the side of artists, fans, human creative expression, or the deepfakes, frauds, and legitimacy of artists. side of the denial of compensation.
