US President Donald Trump has shared another AI-generated video on social media, this time depicting himself as a doctor proposing a treatment for what he calls “Trump Derangement Syndrome” (TDS), a term he frequently uses to mock political opponents and critics. In a post on Truth Social, President Trump shared a 90-second clip between two White House videos touting his administration’s accomplishments and showcasing a new Air Force One jet acquired from Qatar. The AI-generated video shows Trump, wearing a white coat, introducing himself as “Dr. Trump” and prescribing a joking “cure” for TDS.The video features President Trump saying, “Have you or someone you know been diagnosed with TDS? The symptoms are unrelenting. Fortunately, I’m Dr. Trump and I have a treatment plan. Let’s hear what my patients have to say. ”AI-generated versions of several of President Trump’s prominent critics, including TV personalities Whoopi Goldberg and Rosie O’Donnell and actors Robert De Niro, Julia Roberts, Edward Norton and John Leguizamo, have since appeared, appearing to praise the fictional treatment. One of the AI-generated “patients” said, “I’ve been suffering for over 10 years, and after listening to Dr. Trump, I’m starting to see some results. Oh, I’ve been suffering for years. ”The video ends with the AI-generated Trump handing out a prescription. “The cure is simple: turn off the fake news. Pray. And when you feel anxious, drink a Diet Coke like I did, and you will see noticeable changes in your life.”The post joins a growing list of AI-generated content the president has shared in recent months. Some of those posts were controversial, including an AI image that compared President Trump to Jesus Christ during a public disagreement with Pope Leo XIV. The image was removed following criticism, but President Trump later shared another AI-generated image of himself being embraced by Jesus in front of the American flag.
