US President Donald Trump has shared an AI-generated parody video on his social media platform Truth Social depicting himself as a fictional medical expert called “Dr. Trump” who claims to cure a condition he calls “Trump Derangement Syndrome” (TDS). It’s a term that President Trump and his supporters often use to criticize their opponents.
Styled like a TV medical ad, the AI-generated clip begins with Trump, wearing a white coat, asking viewers, “Have you or someone you know been diagnosed with TDS?” before introducing himself as “Dr. Trump.” The video then features fabricated celebrity patients as deepfake versions of celebrities who have previously criticized Trump.

AI-generated characters include Julia Roberts, Robert De Niro, Rosie O’Donnell, Whoopi Goldberg, Edward Norton, and John Leguizamo. Celebrities are portrayed as reformed patients, offering fictional accounts of their “recovery” from TDS.
In the videos, these characters describe fictional symptoms such as anger, anxiety, and insomnia, then claim to have recovered by following “Dr. Trump’s” treatment plan.
‘Julia Roberts’ was seen talking about their ordeal, saying their opposition to Trump had aged them “20 years in the last two years” and made “everyone” around them “miserable”. “I wasn’t really sure I could help some of these people. They were far away and I wasn’t really sure,” the President’s AI said.

The parody prescription promoted in the video advises viewers to “turn off the fake news,” “say a prayer,” and “drink a Diet Coke when you’re feeling anxious,” in a humorous and satirical tone. “You will see amazing changes in your life,” he declared.
Instead of a stethoscope and white coat, the image showed Trump wearing a long white robe with a red shawl draped over his shoulders, and light radiating from his palms.

The AI video is the latest in a series of synthetic media posts shared by President Trump, who has previously used AI-generated images depicting himself in a variety of symbolic and alternative roles, further increasing scrutiny over the use of deepfake technology in political discourse.
