New capabilities announced at Domopalooza enable businesses to integrate AI agents and enterprise data across workflows to power the next generation of intelligent enterprises
Silicon Slopes, Utah, March 25, 2026–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Domo (NASDAQ: DOMO) today announced a new AI orchestration framework to help enterprises operationalize artificial intelligence. New features announced at the company’s annual Domopalooza conference include AI Agent Builder, AI Toolkits, a centralized AI library, and Domo MCP Server, which connects enterprise data directly to external AI platforms. Together, these tools enable organizations to build and deploy custom AI agents that are deeply integrated with enterprise data and workflows.
“AI doesn’t lose value just because the models get smarter. It creates value when it connects to business and becomes a system of behavior,” said Josh James, founder and CEO of Domo. “This week at Domopalooza, we’ll be sharing over 200 Domo AI use cases from real-world production environments at our customers. The tools we’re announcing will help users build AI agents connected to trusted enterprise data and workflows, turning AI from an abstract feature to something that actually drives business outcomes.”
Orchestrate AI: Domo AI Library, AI Agent Builder, and AI Toolkit
Domo’s new framework is designed to help companies move from the increasingly common pilot AI experiments that burden engineers with technical debt to tuned AI systems running in production. Domo’s AI and data product platform provides a central environment for building and managing AI agents that operate using trusted, controlled business data. At the heart of the announcement is the Domo AI Library, a central hub for curating and managing AI solutions, which will be available to customers this summer.
Within the AI Library, users can leverage the AI Agent Builder to create conversational agents and agent workflows for specific use cases.
To power these agents, teams can create AI toolkits, which are packaged sets of capabilities that define what the agents can do. Toolkits allow users to combine tools, data, and workflows with instructions and business context that guide how agents behave. These reusable packages can contain operational logic and domain-specific knowledge, allowing agents to take on roles such as financial analysts or operations managers.
These toolkits can be created by customers, provided by Domo for common use cases, or connected to external services. Assigning toolkits to agents allows your organization to control the actions and systems that agents can access. Toolkits can also be exposed externally through MCP, allowing AI assistants like Gemini and Claude to access these features through the Domo MCP server.
Agents built with these tools can be deployed across multiple experiences, including customizable AI chat interfaces embedded in dashboards, applications, and workflows across the Domo platform.
These capabilities allow leaders to build what many describe as an “AI workforce” of specialized agents that support their teams and automate work directly within their business operations.
“Domo is the foundation of how we operationalize AI for business intelligence across our organizations,” said Marcus Wilkins, principal data scientist at InformData, a US-based company that provides background checks, continuous surveillance, and identity intelligence services in more than 200 countries and territories around the world. “Bringing data and workflows into a single, connected environment gives us the control and context we need to build with confidence. Additionally, we use GenAI at the decision-making layer within our workflows to decide what data to use and how to proceed with the results. The result is a system where insights can be trusted, reused, and applied consistently across teams.”
Domo MCP Server connects enterprise data to the AI ecosystem
A key component of today’s announcement is Domo MCP Server, which extends the Domo AI toolkit and agents to external AI platforms such as Claude, Gemini, and ChatGPT. Through MCP, these systems can securely interact with Domo data, services, and workflows. Built on the new Model Context Protocol (MCP) standard, Domo MCP Server acts as a universal connector, giving AI tools access to managed enterprise data and actions within Domo.
Through MCP, AI assistants can:
Dataset and analysis queries
Trigger workflows and automations
Create dashboards and applications
Configure alerts and operational processes
While traditional integrations often return simple text responses, Domo’s MCP implementation enables AI tools to render interactive business experiences, such as dashboards and other interactive workflows, directly within the chat interface.
For example, sales leaders can ask an AI assistant to analyze pipeline risk and instantly receive an interactive dashboard with filters and drilldowns. Managers can create real-time inventory alerts through guided wizards within conversations, without having to navigate menus or manually create reports.
This approach allows intelligence to move seamlessly between AI tools and enterprise systems without duplicating logic or compromising governance.
The foundation of an intelligent enterprise
Today’s announcement builds on Domo’s broader vision for the Intelligent Enterprise, an operating model where people orchestrate AI agents and data systems to improve decision-making and accelerate outcomes.
As enterprises deploy more AI agents, the need for a coordination layer that connects enterprise data and workflows under consistent governance becomes critical.
Domo’s platform provides that coordination layer, allowing enterprises to connect data across systems, establish a shared semantic context, and deploy AI-driven automation wherever work is done.
Together, these capabilities ensure that AI systems operate with a common understanding of business context, bridging the gap between raw data and AI-powered results.
