Domino Data Labs’ expanded platform includes a new project hub, additional cloud offerings, and the Model Sentry solution suite.
Domino Data Lab, a data science and artificial intelligence (AI) platform company, announced a range of new features at its Rev 4 conference on June 1, 2023. It is an extension to MLOps, the company’s platform that uses custom large-scale language models and generative AI applications. It is designed to democratically access changes in the AI ecosystem to develop and deploy data science solutions. Expansions include a new AI Project Hub, additional cloud-based products, and the Model Sentry feature suite.
New AI Project Hub connects users with pre-trained foundational models and project templates to help you choose the best foundational model, as well as connect you to data and fine-tune that data to generate code that The hub also has various autoscaling compute clusters for large distributed data preparation and model training.
The company’s new cloud offerings include Domino Cloud for life Sciences (DLCS), an audit-ready specialized AI cloud platform intended for use in the pharmaceutical industry. DLCS is designed to accelerate drug discovery, optimize research workflows and maintain strict regulatory compliance within a secure, collaborative and fully managed platform.
Model Sentry is a suite designed to de-risk models, implement responsible AI practices, and eliminate AI development overspending. The solution uses a unified model registry for full lineage tracking as well as automated model cards for audit purposes.
