Delhi police have registered a lawsuit over AI video of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's mother's mother uploaded by Congress.
The lawsuit has been registered with North Avenue Police Station in Delhi on the basis of complaints filed by the BJP. The FIR has named the Congressional Party and Congress IT cells as the main accusations.
The Bihar meeting on September 10th posted an AI-generated video of what appears to be the look of Prime Minister Modi and his mother, the late Heyraven. The BJP accused the Congress of surpassing all restrictions with a “nasty” video, calling it a humiliation to all mothers and sisters in the country.
What caused controversy to the video?
The video was shared without name to anyone and said, “'ma' appears in Sahab's dream. Watch the interesting dialogue.”
In the video, a character similar to Prime Minister Modi can be seen preparing his bed. He sleeps, a woman resembling his mother appears in his dreams and olds him using her name for political gain. The woman then asks, “Do you want to fall all the way when it comes to politics?” Which of the characters are awake?

The video reportedly urges that targeted Prime Minister Modi's mother were recited from the Congress RJD stage during the Durbanga rally of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's “Voters Adakal Yatra” rally. Prime Minister Modi himself condemned the remarks and said that the people of Bihar would never forgive the Congress and the RJD.
BJP assaults with AI video
The official BJP Twitter handle also denounced the AI video ad campaign, saying:
BJP MP Nishikant Dubey said, “Stop the prime minister's mother aside. Men from the background of poor villages who become prime minister may oppose Western culture, but here he branded the merchant of death and is now exposed to the lowest depths of abuse.”
Congress defended the video and said it was for parents to educate her child. However, the Bihar Congress unit has launched an internal investigation into the controversial video.
