Dana White updates on recent clash with UFC’s Jon Jones
After announcing the next UFC White House event, former heavyweight champion Jon Jones wasn’t super disappointed. According to Jones, he was treated unfairly by the UFC and was not given the money he wanted to return.
White said Jones has severe arthritis and the promotion has no interest in bringing him back. At a recent press conference, White again detailed what happened behind the scenes.
“Jon Jones knows exactly what happened and this happens every week in the UFC…You’d think Jon Jones would be eager to fight…If he really wants to fight we have to give this guy three fights a year…and if he doesn’t we have to pay him” Dana White continued.
