what will you do:
Support business partners and colleagues in the data engineering and analytics team and members of the digital and analytics community in delivering digital products
Supports requirements gathering through continuous iteration during the development phase.
Continuously improve code quality through refactoring and technical debt reduction activities.
Support pipeline continuity by actively participating in the monitoring and support process.
Support business continuity by analyzing unexpected process terminations, reviewing and upgrading code and processes to ensure error-free and minimal maintenance efforts.
Qualifications for this job:
Bachelor’s degree PhD in Computer Information Science
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Mathematics.
3+ years of experience in designing, architecting, and engineering data pipelines, including integration topics (APIs).
3+ years of experience in data exploration and visualization, including delivering data-driven digital products.
3+ years of experience in building data models and conceptual logical models and translating them into technical application designs
2+ years of experience in integration and interfacing between various systems (legacy and modern)
2+ years of experience in Big Data, Artificial Intelligence (AI) Knowledge and strong skills in SQL and non-SQL databases and Teradata, Redshift, MongoDB or equivalent applications
Extensive knowledge and experience in DevOps, Agile practices and CI/CD
Extensive knowledge of cloud-native solutions, microservices and cloud computing (AWS and Azure)
Extensive knowledge of software development (Python, Scala, Golang, SQL) and data solutions (Tableau, Cognos, Informatica)
Extensive knowledge of AI, ML and cognitive services concepts
