During a ceremony held at the Police Parade Ground in Raipur, the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Bhupesh Baghel, raised the Indian flag as a part of the Independence Day celebration. He later congratulated and wished the citizens of the state. While addressing the gathering, Baghel made many declarations.
He reminded that the people who are accused of rape, molestation and other crimes against women and girls would be banned from holding public office in the state as the safety of women and children was his primary concern. Baghel said, “It is our top priority to ensure women’s safety, respect, and dignity. We have decided that those accused of molesting girls and women, raping them and other (offences against women) will be banned from government jobs.”
While talking about the role of modern technology in developing Nava Chhattisgarh, the government will include information on state-of-the-art technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and the Internet of Things in the state’s school curriculum from the next academic session onwards so that the students can prepare themselves to adapt to the future technology, he added.

Free bus pick-up and drop
He announced free bus pick-up and drop facilities for the students of government colleges between their homes and colleges. CM Baghel later announced to launch the ‘Mukhyamantri Nirman Shramik Pension Shayata Yojana’ for the welfare of construction workers.
Free online classes for students in 11th and 12th standard
The CM proclaimed free online tutoring from famous national institutions for students in 11th and 12th classes from the government schools in rural areas of Chhattisgarh to prepare them for various competitive exams in Engineering and Medicine.
Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
Baghel declared that topics on advanced technologies like Artificial Intelligence, the Internet of Things, and Machine Learning would be included in the school curriculum from the next academic year onwards.
