“Microsoft has come up with a new strategy called adaptive cloud, a cloud that adapts to your circumstances so you can run Azure anywhere, with primary and secondary workloads,” said Dion Hubert (pictured), global adaptive cloud and AI sales director at Microsoft. “This is a big difference compared to other solutions on the market. When you think about it, this strategy means we've co-designed with HPE a platform that brings the cloud to you, rather than bringing you to the cloud.”

Ubert spoke with Dave Vellante and Rebecca Knight of theCUBE Research at HPE Discover during an exclusive broadcast from SiliconANGLE Media's livestreaming studio, theCUBE. Transform processes with integrated cloud and AI solutions

As the data stack within an enterprise becomes more integrated than ever, many leaders are wondering how to capture this data and make it fit into a hybrid cloud infrastructure. Microsoft Fabric, an end-to-end analytical data platform, is one answer to this question.

“You can do that today by using Arc-enabled services, running on HPE hardware, leveraging and analyzing local data, and creating an end-to-end view from cloud to action, Azure to cloud, in terms of what the data is telling you and what the key trends are in that space,” Ubert said.

Microsoft and HPE continue to innovate together, focusing on edge computing as a promising area that both companies see as fertile ground for significant advancements.

“We're integrating all kinds of form factors that run on our software. This is part of our adaptive cloud, where we adapt to run Azure anywhere for our customers because we think the world is hybrid,” Ubert said.
