Citibank Korea announced on Friday that it has begun the full organization-wide rollout of Citi’s newly introduced artificial intelligence platform, Citi AI. As part of this effort, the bank hosted Citi AI Days on Wednesday and Thursday, where employees shared real-world examples of how they can apply Citi AI in their daily work.

Citi AI is a purpose-built platform built on a human-driven AI approach to support and enhance employee expertise and decision-making. With safety and responsible use as core principles, the platform helps employees perform their jobs more efficiently and consistently.

Through Citi AI, Citibank Korea expects to be able to more effectively leverage the data and expertise accumulated across Citi’s global network, while reducing the burden of repetitive tasks such as data analysis and document creation.

This frees up employees to focus on higher-value activities. The bank plans to systematically embed AI across customer support, talent development, and business operations.

Additionally, the bank operates the Citi AI Accelerator program, which supports the practical application of AI in daily operations. Currently, 59 Citi AI accelerators have been selected in South Korea to participate in hands-on training and implementation, playing a key role in advancing the use of AI in real-world business environments.
