Waterloo, Ontario. Pixus Technologies has announced new carrier boards and specialized cards designed for high-performance computing applications such as AI systems and test and measurement platforms, the company announced in a statement.

According to the company, the product supports customized support for 19-inch rack-mounted subracks, which incorporates customized I/O and backplane interfaces. The carrier board can be integrated into a modular enclosure using a pixus standard front panel and ejector handle to provide a customizable base for end-user applications.

Pixus says the design supports the principles of Modular Open System Architecture (MOSA) and can include components such as backplanes, chassis managers, advanced cooling solutions, and rugged power systems. The company's solutions are compatible with a variety of open standards in line with VITA, PICMG and SENSOR OPEN SYSTEMS ARCHITECTURE or SOSA, Technical Standard.
