How many times have you heard that the human brain is like a muscle? That's true, the less you do it, the weaker it becomes.

And doctoral degrees specializing in brain activity say that entering the age of artificial intelligence becomes dangerous.

But the sad and dangerous misconception that some people have is that AI has a definitive answer based on a wealth of information sources. That's not true, at least so far.

“I think AI can be used as a research tool, but we need to validate the information as it's only a Google search engine that returns information based on the wording of the prompt,” he says.

Recent research shows AI that is likely to do the busy work that most people face every day, allowing people to focus on bigger and more productive tasks, but recent MIT research shows that using chatbot AI “maintains the need to maintain the need for lazy, shallow thinking.”

Another trap that people expect to fall into is that it allows AI to slowly take on more parts of a person's job. This allows the AI to begin actions independently and keep the details of the work to itself.

Ultimately, depending on the type of AI used, AI can know more about the work than workers.

“It's like taking a copier and copying the papers, but you didn't see them, so you didn't process them through your neural network, so there's no place to retrieve them,” adds Porter.

Using AI sparingly is one answer, but it's better to use it strategically as part of your job.
