Boomi has been recognized by a range of analysts across the integration, API management, data management, and AI-related software markets. Recent recognition includes inclusion in reports from Gartner, IDC, Constellation, Nucleus Research, and ISG.
We were named a Leader in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Integration Platforms as a Service, ranking highest for execution, extending our 12th consecutive year of recognition in the Leader category. Gartner also listed Boomi as a Challenger in the Magic Quadrant for Master Data Management Solutions, marking the company’s first appearance in that rating.
IDC also named Boomi a Leader in its global API management vendor evaluation. Constellation has included this product in its shortlist for cross-platform Agentic AI, integration platform as a service, and cloud-based analytical data platform for data integration and transformation.
Nucleus Research has named Boomi a Leader in the iPaaS Technology Value Matrix for the seventh year in a row. Meanwhile, ISG rated the company “Exemplary” in its Buyer’s Guide for AI Agents.
These assessments come as software suppliers compete to position themselves as the central platform for enterprises looking to connect applications, data, APIs, automation tools, and new AI systems. As the market moves from early AI trials to operational use, there is an increasing demand for software that can connect systems while maintaining control over data flows and automated processes.
Boomi has sought to expand its pitch beyond its established integrated software base. Recent product efforts include API federation and governance, support for model context protocols, data integration, managed file transfer, the adoption of Agentstudio, and Meta Hub, which is described as a way to give business context to AI agents.
Boomi says it serves more than 30,000 customers and works with a network of more than 800 partners. This scale has helped position the company in multiple analyst categories as buyers look to reduce the number of platforms to handle integration, data management, and AI orchestration. These categories are increasingly overlapping.
market changes
Industry analysts are increasingly assembling integration software as part of the operational layer needed to move AI systems into everyday business use. Nucleus Research said buyers now expect iPaaS products to support AI workloads and traditional integration tasks, while Constellation highlighted demand for products that can orchestrate workflows across data, APIs, applications, and AI with governance and operational controls.
ISG made a similar point in its assessment of the AI agent market.
“Companies are demonstrating not only the value of AI, but also the need to more effectively align their AI and data programs,” said Matt Aslett, director of research, data and analytics at ISG. “As enterprises move from pilot to production, the market is moving toward platforms that unify data, integration, governance, and orchestration to ensure AI can operate within real-world business environments.”
For Boomi, spreading awareness is important. That’s because it suggests that the company is gaining recognition not only in integrated software, where it has established a presence over the years, but also in adjacent categories. The Master Data Management rating is particularly noteworthy as it positions Boomi in a market focused on how enterprises define, maintain and manage core data sets used across their systems.
API management ratings also reflect broader industry trends. As companies expose more internal services and connect more software through APIs, governance and oversight have become a bigger part of enterprise technology purchasing decisions. Vendors that can combine integration and API management in one stack are poised to benefit from that change.
Corporate response
Steve Lucas, Boomi’s chairman and chief executive officer, tied the analyst’s results to customer demand for a small number of strategic software platforms.
“As enterprises race to become AI-driven, the challenge is no longer about access to models, but whether organizations can enable trusted data, manage interactions, and orchestrate execution across increasingly complex environments,” Lucas said. “We believe this wave of analyst ratings reflects the strength of our platform and the momentum from customers seeking a single strategic foundation for integrations, APIs, data, automation, and agent AI.”
