Anthropic, Blackstone, Hellman & Friedman, and Goldman Sachs announce the formation of a new AI services company. The organization will work with mid-sized companies in a variety of sectors and will involve Mr. Claude in their most important work. Anthropic’s applied AI engineers work with the company’s engineering teams to identify where Claude can have the most impact, build custom solutions, and support customers over the long term.

In addition to the founding partners, the new company is backed by a consortium of leading alternative asset managers, including General Atlantic, Leonard Green, Apollo Global Management, GIC and Sequoia Capital.

Why build this?

Engaging Claude in the core functions of an organization requires hands-on engineering and deep knowledge of how each business operates. Claude Partner Network’s system integrators currently work for some of the world’s largest companies, and we continue to invest heavily in these partnerships to help Claude reach more customers. This new company will further expand its delivery capabilities. From community banks to mid-market manufacturers to local health systems, enterprises stand to benefit from AI, but lack the internal resources to build and run cutting-edge deployments.

What will the work look like?

A typical engagement begins with a small team working closely with the customer to understand where Claude can have the greatest impact. From there, the company’s engineers and Anthropic Applied AI staff develop Claude-powered systems tailored to each organization’s operations.

Consider a medical service group that spans multiple locations, such as a network of physician practices. Clinicians spend hours each day reviewing documentation, medical coding, prior authorizations, and compliance. Engagement may begin with a company’s engineering team talking with clinicians and IT staff to build a tool that fits into the workflows that staff already uses. Clinicians know where time is being lost in their shifts and what good patient care actually looks like. The company’s engineers are building on that knowledge to free up clinicians to spend more time caring for their patients.

Initiatives like this take place in medium-sized companies across a variety of industries and are shaped by the people closest to their operations.

Building a cloud partner network

The company will also become a member of Anthropic’s growing Claude partner network.
