The AI and Computational Sciences team are key teams within R&D Digital, focusing on imaging, OMIC, wearable sensor data and clinical data analysis. This team plays a key role in bridging the gap between general digital products and specific project needs.

Main responsibility:
Exceptionality in the research stage
- Design and implement AI models for target identification and validation using multiomic data (genomics, proteomics, transcriptomics)
- Develop prediction algorithms for molecular design for compound selection and accelerate lead optimization
- Creating a computer vision system for high-throughput screening image analysis and cellular phenotypes
Clinical Development Innovation
- Engineer digital biomarkers from wearable sensors and mobile devices allow for objective and continuous patient monitoring
- Implement advanced time series analysis of real-time patient data to detect early efficacy signals
- Identify Responder populations and design AI-powered patient stratification models to optimize trial design
Multimodal Data Integration
- Architect system that harmonizes a variety of data types (imaging, OMICS, clinical, text, sensors) with a unified analytical framework
- Develop new feature extraction techniques across modalities to enhance predictive power
- Create visualization tools that present complex multimodal insights to clinical teams
Scientific influence
- Work with cross-functional teams to translate AI insights into actionable drug development strategies
- Findings presented to science and business stakeholders of various technical backgrounds.
- Publish innovative methodologies in top-class science and AI/ML journals
- Contributes to patent applications to protect new AI/ML approaches
About You
experience: 3-5 years of experience in AI/ML and development of computational model development for multimodal data such as OMICS, biomedical imaging, texts, and clinical trial data
Important functional requirements:
- We have demonstrated successful implementation of AI/ML projects
- 3-5 years of experience in computational modeling or AI/ML algorithm development, or other related fields
- Deep understanding and achievements in developing model training pipelines and workflows
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Work knowledge and comfort using agile methodology
Technical Skills:
- Programming Proficiency: Advanced Python Skills (Pytorch, Tensorflow, Jax) with experience in ML frameworks
- Machine Learning: Deep expertise in monitored, unsurveillanced, reinforcement learning algorithms
- Drug discovery: molecular design, docking, binding site prediction, mRNA vaccine design, ADMET properties, protein structure prediction, molecular dynamics simulation
- Deep Learning: Experience in designing and implementing neural network architectures (CNNS, RNNS, Transformers
- Computer Vision: Proficiency in Image Processing, Segmentation, and Object Detection Techniques (SAM, VIT, Spreading Models, MediaPipe, MMophes, Monodepth, VoxelNet, SlowFast, C3D))
- Natural Language Processing: Experience in large-scale language models, text mining, and information extraction (Openai, Claude, Llama, Qwen, Deepseek model series)
- Time Series Analysis: Expertise in analyzing time data from sensors and wearable devices (HAR Foundation model, compliance detection model)
- OMICS analysis: Knowledge of how to calculate protein genomics, proteomics, or transcriptome data
- Cloud Computing: Experience in deploying ML models on cloud platforms (AWS)
Tools and Technology:
- Data Processing: Experience with Data Pipelines and ETL Processes
- Version Control: Proficiency in Git and Collaborative Development Workflows, Docker
- MLOPS: experience in model deployment, monitoring and maintenance
- Visualization: Ability to create compelling data visualizations (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly)
- Experimental Tracking: Be familiar with tools such as MLFLOW, weight, bias, or similar platforms
Soft Skills:
- Strong scientific communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Collaborative thinking about team environments that go beyond functionality
