Gates believes that future AI giants will create personal digital agents that can perform specific tasks on behalf of people.
“Whoever gets a private agent, that’s a big deal because you’re never going to a search site, you’re never going to a productivity site, you’re never going to Amazon,” he said.
Many believe that they are giants of technology, Google Gates said the AI game-changer has a 50-50 chance that the startup will be the future winner.
“I would be disappointed if Microsoft didn’t get in there,” Gates said of the company he co-founded with Paul Allen in 1975. “But we are impressed with some startups, including Inflection.”
