Bihar Congress is currently investigating viral AI videos of Modi's late mother

AI Video & Visuals

After initially revealing the political storm caused by an AI-generated video featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his late mother Heylaven Modi, Congressional Party's Bihar forces are investigating how the controversial video was posted through the official x Handle and “no approval”.

A source from the Bihar force of the Assembly said Federation A six-person fact-finding team is investigating whether streaming the video is a “decision lapse or intentional mischief.”

Ordered probe

Meanwhile, the agency was hired to generate video content for Bihar Congress' social media handles. It is “banned” from creating new content until the fact-finding team finishes the investigation. Strangely, this video has not been removed by the party despite political inconsistencies.

The committees include President Rajesh Ram of the Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee (BPCC), AICC's Bihar state Krishna Araval, Chief Shekel Khan of the Congress, State Media Director Rajesh Rasole, Pranab Vahharajana, and Kumar, advisor to the National Media and Digital Gaa Live Platform.

Additionally, sources said Pawan Khera, chief of Congress's media and propaganda division, will also oversee the investigation.

Ironically, Khera vehemently defended the video after the BJP used the leader of Lok Sabha's opposition Rahul Gandhi to “repeat the Prime Minister and his late mother, and make public discourse to that Nadir.”

“Dream” video

The 36-second AI-generated video shared by Bihar Congress' X handle on the evening of September 10th features a “dream sequence” in which Heeraben is blamed for Modi. notebandi Kew (a reference to the 2016 Prime Minister's controversial demonstration move) got a reel made to wash my feet. Print my humiliation poster and banner. You're trying again Nautanki (Theatre) How low will we be in Bihar? ”

A day later, the backlash from the BJP and its NDA partners was charred, and the line was once again dragged Modi's late mother into the centre weeks later by Tejashwi Yadav, senior leader of Congress, to the centre.

Congress defends the video

The first response in Congress to the BJP's Barb was to launch a counterattack. Khera and the counterparts of Rajesh Rathorre, the party's Bihar unit, were defending the video.

“Where is the indecency shown to his (Modi's) deceased mother? Show me words, words, one gesture. It is the parent's duty to educate the child. She is only educating the child. If the child thinks it is rude to him, it is his headache, not mine, and the BJP tries to produce everything? He is in politics, he needs to incorporate everything, even the opposite sense of humor is appropriately, and in fact there is no humour, naseehat (Advice) Now,” Khera said.

Lasor said too Federation The video showed Healaven in “dignified way.” “Every good mother scots his unworthy son when he does the wrong thing. If the child is not worthy, it's not the mother's fault,” Rason said.

Revoked or mischief?

Currently, Khera oversees the fact finding team's video investigation, while Rathorre will be part of the party's investigation team. “We're looking at how this will happen. Was it a lapse of judgment and intentional mischief,” said a source familiar with the ongoing in-party investigation. Federation Sunday (September 14th).

However, it was unclear whether Congress decided to launch an investigation following its own assessment of potential political damages that video and BJP backlash could cause Congress in poll-bound states, whether it was forced by the party's senior grand alliance partner RJD. Federationwarned Congressional leadership to refrain from sharing such content in the future.

Sources familiar with the initial deliberations within the fact-finding team said the video was posted on social media “without forced clearance” by senior leaders in the social media division of Bihar Congress and AICC.

There is no clearance

The video was created not “internally” but by “external agencies” who were engaged in the Bihar Conference to generate social media content, especially videos that could be used to prepare for the Bihar Congress' poll.

According to a system devised by the parties to circulate content from official social media handles, content created by external agents is first shared by senior leaders WhatsApp groups, including the social media heads of national units and the national social media coordinators responsible for the distribution on public platforms.

Sources say that the controversial video was actually shared for the required approvals in the associated WhatsApp group of Bihar Congress, but the X-handle of the state unit reached “no required clearance.”

“It was posted to the group, but no one had cleared it (as it was posted to the official Bihar meeting) x Handle), members of the social media team of the Bihar Conference said Federation. He added that such lapses had even occurred during Rahul Gandhi voter Adhikal Yatra, who said, “Many videos were featured on the party's national media handle because they couldn't consider it not being published.”

Ostensibly, none of these videos were “political sensitive” in nature and did not raise alarms, so the failure continued until Modi and Heeraben's AI-generated videos exploded.

Impact on Bihar's polls

The party has finally woken up following the uprising caused by the BJP, but Congressional sources have admitted that it may already be too late to control the damages already inflicted on the video, as senior party leaders, including Khera, were already stubbornly defending. The best thing Congress can hope for now is that such cases will never recur again as they approach elections.

The fact-finding team is expected to outline additional measures to prevent such shocks that could cost a valuable party in the election.
