Belgian AI consultancy ML2Grow acquired by Delaware

IT consulting firm Delaware has completed an acquisition in Belgium. The addition of ML2Grow expands the company’s capabilities in artificial intelligence and machine learning.

ML2Grow is an artificial intelligence (AI) services specialist founded in 2017, independent of Ghent University. The company advises organizations on AI strategies, develops algorithms and models, and supports implementation of AI solutions.

Since its founding, ML2Grow has delivered AI projects to over 100 organizations. These range from innovative initiatives in healthcare, such as UZ Gent’s projects, to sustainability programs at DRUMDRUM, a leading industrial packaging company.

With the addition of ML2Grow, the ML2Grow team (approximately 12 members) brings deep expertise in computer vision, natural language processing (NLP), machine learning operations (MLOps), and AI engineering, significantly enhancing Delaware’s AI service offering.

“This acquisition is an important step in our goal to help organizations realize the full potential of AI,” said Jan de Bock, Delaware Managing Director, Belgium and Luxembourg. “It also confirms our goal as a company to fully embrace AI and ensure our clients benefit from the best talent, advanced technology, and unified intelligence.”

After the acquisition, Delaware’s AI team consists of approximately 85 experts, positioning the company as one of the market leaders in this field in Belgium.

“This integration with Delaware is the next logical step in ML2Grow’s growth journey,” said Joeri Ruyssinck, CEO of ML2Grow. “This will give our clients access to a wide range of technical AI capabilities that are truly unique in the Belgian market. Together, we will be able to better address the increasingly complex challenges surrounding AI implementation.”

Globally, Delaware employs more than 5,000 people in 20 countries.
