Girl in front of a burning house
The image of a girl standing in front of a burning house is one of the most well-known memes in the world. Recently, this image was transformed into a photorealistic video that actually looks like the original, but is an AI creation. Take a look:

The photo went viral on the Internet after winning the contest. Emotion CaptureFrom the magazine Dave JPGIn 2008.
Then came the era of NFT files (Non-fungible tokens), Zoe and her father sold the photo for 180 Ethereum, or about 2.5 million reais, in digital currency.
Boyfriend of a couple looking at someone else
Another meme on the list of the most famous memes shows a supposed boyfriend gazing at another woman while a supposed girlfriend watches the spectacle. The image went viral on the Internet, spawning dozens of variations and giving Internet users a lot of laughs.
An AI platform called Luma brought photos to life in short videos, but the results weren't very convincing and had some flaws.
The interesting thing about this timeless meme is that it was registered to provide an image bank. The author of this photo is the Spaniard Antonio Guillem, who wanted to depict a case of infidelity through photography. In fact, the idea was a success and continues to reverberate on social media to this day.
Captain Picard
Luma's AI recreated a scene from the TV series Star Trek (1987-1994) in which Captain Picard, played by Patrick Stewart, holds his hand to his head in thought, and from that image it generated a short video in which Picard removes his hand from his face, but with one noticeable error: the character's hand is drawn with six fingers, and his facial expression is robotic.
Observant dog
Photos of pets in unusual poses and expressions always make for good memes. One of them is this dog with an observant or critical look, as the internet likes to call it. The scene was even turned into a photorealistic video.
A young girl, Chloe, reacts to her sister's crying
In 2013, a home video showing the sisters' reactions to finding out they were going to Disney became a globally famous meme. In the recording, Lily is extremely emotional at the news, while Chloe is surprised and a little overwhelmed by her sister's reaction. And it was Chloe's exact reaction that became a meme, with several versions used to describe different situations.
The AI used a printout of the recording to generate a new video, but that version wasn't very interesting.
Do you remember this meme?
The photo of the boy, hands full of sand and a determined look on his face, spawned a meme that resonates to this day. The original photo was taken at the beach by Sammy Greiner's mother in 2007.
Woman yelling at cat
A few years ago, an image of a woman screaming at a kitten while a man was screaming went viral on social media, especially X (old twitter).
The meme combines two different situations: the first is a frame of reality TV contestant Taylor Armstrong. Real Housewives of Beverly HillsThe second part is an excerpt from a video of Smudge, a kitten who hates vegetables and fruits: every time his owner, sculptor Miranda Stillabauer, offers him these foods, Smudge gets angry, screams and refuses the food.
This montage went viral in the form of an image, but of course it was also used to create a video that appears to be a continuation of the meme.
Ellen DeGeneres selfie
During the award ceremony 2014 Academy AwardsIn the 1960s, Ellen DeGeneres' selfie became hugely famous. Although it seems simple, this record was a landmark in the history of the backstage Oscars. Until then, it was unusual to see so many celebrities gathered together for a relaxed selfie.
Comedian and host Ellen DeGeneres summed it all up in one photo. Meryl Streep, Bradley Cooper, Jared Leto, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, Jennifer Lawrence, Kevin Spacey, Lupita Nyong'o, Channing Tatum.
A few years later, that photo has been transformed into a video using AI, but it still doesn't compare to the original scene, does it?
Pablo Escobar is thoughtful
Another famous meme that became a meme with an image and now also with a video is an excerpt from the series. Narcos (2015), available NetflixOne of the scenes, in which the main character, Pablo Escobar, sits on a swing, has been remade on a generative AI website.
But because the frame shows the character from the side, when the AI tries to recreate the face of actor Wagner Moura, who plays a drug trafficker, it ends up looking very different from the real thing.
Pope Francis wears famous designer clothes?
In the first half of 2023, an image of Pope Francis wearing a voluminous coat, supposedly designed by designer Filippo Sorcinelli, went viral on several websites.
However, the image was a fake created by an AI platform called Midjourney. Now, the image has also been included in a list of AI-generated videos, and is perhaps one of the most convincing on the list.
