That's because Xai (the company led by Elon Musk) deployed a flashy update to their Grok app. Imagine Glock.
This is a tool that can whip AI-generated images and turn them into short, sometimes oddly seductive videos.
Let's break down what it is, how we use it, and where it is in the rapidly moving world of AI video generators.

Imagine Glock Available on Grok iOS and Android apps (but Android Access Currently limited to “heavy” users).
This is Xai's answer to Midjourney's video tools, Google's VEO, Openai's SORA, and more. All of these can turn text prompts into visual content.
But Grok Imagine takes it a step further with meme-friendly, all-out vibes. According to TechCrunchit allows NSFW content that masks themselves promoted as a feature rather than a bug.
How to access Grok Imagine
- Download or update the GROK app on iOS or Android.
- Open the app.
- At the top, two tabs are displayed. “Ask” and “Imagine”. Tap the “Imagination” or “Create Image” button to enter the Magic Zone.
- If you are using Android, make sure you are a SuperGrok heavy subscriber. iOS users must be heavy or premium+subscribers.

- Enter the prompt (wild or tame as you want – GROK won't judge), upload the image or press the “speak” button to prompt your voice.
- Wait a few seconds. Grok spits out images and variations. Continue scrolling and more generations continue.
- Do you see what you like? Tap to share or download.
“Grok Imagine is very fast,” tweeted one user. “It will turn your imagination into a sound video within 30 seconds.”

- Tap the image you created with Grok.
- Hit “Make Video.” Options get custom, spicy, fun, or regular options. (No, really – try “spicy” for meme chaos.)
- Wait a few seconds. Your video will be automatically generated and displayed in an app with sound effects and music.

Want to animate your own photos? Tap the photo icon with the plus sign at the bottom of the app, upload the photo and Grok Imagine does the rest. No advanced editing skills are required. Just a vibrator and a little patience.
What is the catch?
Grok Imagine's biggest Flex is its speed and meme potential, but experts have flagged the lack of standard safeguards. So yes, if you're not careful, you might stumble into ethically questionable areas.
According to TechCrunchGrok Imagine has a lightweight content filter compared to competitors such as Openai and Google. It's part of the draw, but that's also a risk.
How can Groks be stacked?
Personally, I lag behind realism and safety compared to Sora and Veo, but I imagined Grok to be extremely easy to use. But if you just want to create flex with memes, weird videos, or group chats, it's hard to beat for pure speed and fun.
According to Rundown AI, it's “super-fast” and “native sound” is a great touch. Musk claims he will become smarter than “almost every day.”

Grok Imagine is not trying to become the most responsible AI video tool. You're trying to be the wildest and most enjoyable thing.
