French AI video platform Arcads.ai has raised $16 million in seed funding to expand its AI-powered marketing video creation platform. European investment group Eurazeo led the round, with Alpha Intelligence Capital and the Sequoia Scout program also participating.
Arcads.ai allows marketing teams to create social media videos using AI-generated actors. The platform supports multiple content formats, including UGC-style (user-generated content) videos, product demonstrations, fashion try-on content, and unboxing videos. The service operates in over 35 languages.
The company was founded in 2024 by Dylan Fournier and Román Torres and operates more than 6,000 customers and businesses worldwide. The platform generates approximately 100,000 video assets every month.
Current users include app studios, consumer brands, marketing agencies, and individual founders. More than half of the company's user base comes from the United States.
Founder's background
Before starting Arcads.ai, Fournier and Torres ran a marketing agency and a mobile app studio. The founders developed the platform to address the video production challenges they encountered when announcing products in a competitive social media environment.
“We created Arcads.ai to break down the barriers that exist when marketing teams need to quickly and affordably create the large numbers of videos they need to promote their products. We have experienced this challenge ourselves for years,” said Fournier, co-founder and co-CEO.
The company currently operates with a team of seven people.

The new funding will support the development of the platform, expansion of video generation capabilities, and the establishment of a San Francisco office to strengthen the company's US presence.
“With Arcads.ai, we make this process of testing, adjusting, and repeating accessible, simple, and iterative,” said Fournier. “The results already speak for themselves. We are already profitable. This funding provides us with the means to accelerate development and support the growth of our user base, particularly in the US.”
