Valuable material even though it was 7 months ago

Last July. Apple hosted an event called “Workshop on Reasoning and Planning,” which featured presentations and discussions by Apple engineers and researchers from UCLA, Stanford University, UC Berkeley, and more.

The event featured nearly 30 studies, presented and discussed over two days. All studies can be found here.

Today, Apple also shared eight talks from the event, including:

Although there’s a 7-month delay between these talks and the publication of today’s video (which is an eternity given how fast these technologies are advancing), it’s still worth watching if you’re interested in AI reasoning, planning, and agent systems.

They provide valuable lessons on how Apple engineers and academic researchers are thinking about the cutting-edge technologies in these areas and the unanswered questions that will shape the next direction of these technologies.
