Some of the world's largest tech companies have trained AI models using datasets that included unauthorized transcripts of more than 173,000 YouTube videos. Proof Newsrevealed how companies including Apple, NVIDIA and Anthropocene used transcripts of YouTube videos from more than 48,000 channels, going against YouTube's platform rules that Google executives have repeatedly cited.
Earlier this month, Apple was criticized for failing to disclose the source of training data for Apple Intelligence, its proprietary generative AI.
These AI models have been trained on some of your favorite YouTube stars, like Marques Brownlee and MrBeast, as well as Engadget's own Cherlynn Low. (We love you, Cher.)

Let's take a look at the unannounced Pixel 9 Pro Fold from just about every angle imaginable. Android Authority We discovered the photos in the archives of Taiwan's National Communications Commission (NCC), who uploaded a gallery of each of the four smartphones: the Pixel 9, 9 Pro, 9 Pro XL, and 9 Pro Fold. For the foldables, Google has moved the selfie camera to the inner screen to increase the field of view. The 9 Pro Fold also appears to have thinner bezels and a smaller crease.
