Dun & Bradstreet (D&B), a global business data and analytics company, has partnered with Anthropic to embed risk and compliance data directly into the Claude AI platform to accelerate corporate onboarding and KYC/KYB processes for regulated companies.

The collaboration is focused on integrating D&B’s Commercial Graph™ into Claude through a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, allowing clients to build customized customer understanding and business understanding workflows within minutes. This integration is designed to replace manual processes and siled tools with a single automated onboarding workflow, allowing agent systems to handle tasks that previously required significant human intervention.

Financial institutions and other regulated organizations can now quickly onboard new business customers using D&B data within Claude. The system automatically validates business identity, ownership structure, and risk profile while also generating audit-ready documentation. The foundation of this functionality is the globally recognized DUNS® Number Business ID. This provides a persistent, verified view of business identity that agents can infer.

MCP-based integration allows users to securely access D&B’s commercial graphs for a variety of purposes. Assess exposure across global third-party and supplier networks. Onboarding agent automation with built-in real-time risk intelligence. Automate the creation of risk determination documents.

Dun & Bradstreet is a provider of business data, analytics and insights, providing clients across financial services and other regulated sectors with tools designed to support risk management and commercial decision-making.

Alex Zuck, general manager of risk at Dun & Bradstreet “What makes this integration powerful is that it not only provides Claude with more data, but it also gives him the validated context and decision-making logic he needs to act on,” he said.

Zuck adds, “Agents in onboarding workflows need to understand who they are dealing with. It not only provides Claude with a persistent, verified view of identity, but also the context needed to infer ownership, control, and risk. Introducing this business validation layer to Claude allows organizations to quickly onboard without compromising safety, accountability, and trust.”
